Picked up my new LC today and rode the 120 odd miles or so home. What a stunning bike and have the week off to run her in.

Oh and have to give a big thumbs up to Mark Hooton of Cymarc for his stunning service.

Looks like you picked some nice weather to run it in- enjoy:thumb

Thanks all. Just been for a sneaky ride in the dark and have found the lights to be be bloody amazing, better than my car! :bounce1

Stunning.

It's replaced 'awesome'.

I picked mine up today as well. Only managed fifty miles even if I only live two miles from the dealer.

Big change from an RT.

Loving every minute of it.

Good luck with yours.

Dub.

Awesome (one for the Senior Members and the Kidz).

Mine's just got to 1,000 miles ~ great bike, no crunches/clanks, blah, blah...

Enjoy the bike.

Thanks Dub. Great weather to ride your new bike too. Can't wait to get the first service over and done with to then have a good play.

Sic.

Now boys ... run it in properly. You don't have to beat it's balls, you don't need to go much above 7k yet, but work it ... accelerate hard ... do some gradients on full chat ... the worst thing you can do now is dawdle ... :beerjug:

Good advice Giles. I've been adding 500rpm every hundred miles above the books recommended 5k which is how I've run in all my new bikes and seems to have worked well so far.
