Got my hands on my dream bike - I must be the youngest R1150GSA rider on here? I'm 20... Always get some funny looks when I get off my BMW's. :blast

Been Dreaming about getting my hands on one of these for years, I'm finally old enough to get one, as I've had my licence two years.

It's a 2005 R1150GSA, with only 18,000 miles on it and full BMW Service history. It's in great condition, only like bits is abit of corrosion on the cylinders near the headers, but apart from that it's all good.

Extra's;
Ard Panniers and Touratech Rails
BMW Tank Bag
Tobinators
HIDS
Touratech Handguard spoilers
Rear hugger and front mudguard extenders, plus much more...

The only thing I want to add now is a sidestand extender, oil cooler guard and skid plate and then i'll be chuffed :bounce1:bounce1

Congrats, finest machine on the road, that one looks very good, and just run

Nice..... for a 1150

:D

Aye - Suppose I can put up with it... :D

Looking good, is that the Jefferies one?

It is - I managed to get them to haggle to a much more reasonable price from the asking price and they also agreed to replace the fork brace, and the engine cover due to the corrosion present and also the crash bars. With a good clean it's in much better condition then it was when I first viewed it... With my plans for it next year, I thought the warrenty and EU assistance is going to be helpful. :thumb2 Wish I did have the money for the SE at Rainbow though :drool

It seems like a good one. Thanks for the welcome :thumb

Lovely looking bike there, well done and enjoy the years ahead with the BM.

(got my first one- R BMW at 20 too - bloody 27 years ago now tho):rob

Nice one mate, she's a cracker.

I get funny looks when I stop on the 1150 and take my helmet off and I'm 26 so be prepared for a bit of that! I wouldn't want to be on anything else on the road 90% of the time.

Just got my r1150gs with some of the same mods as yours but with a few extra miles lol mines on about 78k

Im only 27 so I think there are more young riders on here than you think, Doesnt stop me getting odd looks as well though :nenau

Nice GSA and much better than the CBR600's etc that your mates ride! For the sidestand, look at the Fatterfoot from Ruggedroads (great bit of kit) and the Wunderlich oil cooler guard is nicely understated and gives you the option of Black or Silver. I didn't fit a skid plate to mine as the standard one is very industrial!

Thanks all, looks like I'm not that much younger then most, but thanks for the nice words. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. :thumb2:thumb2

As i've read many times, 78k is just ran in :aidan

Very nice.

What make are the panniers?

They are ''Ard'' panniers, check this long thread;

My 650single never fails to upset a few friends sports bikes on the twistys, so looking forward to this. :D

Thanks for the info - I think i'm going to get the fatterfoot from Ruggedroads, spent far too much money this month now waiting for payday. :thumb2

Silver are the fastest ones.
but yours looks OK :D
Ride Safe,young un.....................:thumb

I did want a silver one at first - but the Black and yellow has suprisingly grown on me... If it's good enough for Oisin it's good enough for me. :thumb2
Thanks
