Pictures are St. Mary's island near Whitley bay. Tynemouth castle is the other one on the north bank entrance to the river tyne.

About 3 miles apart. Nice views. Enjoy the new bike.

The first photo is St.Mary's Lighthouse, north end of Whitley Bay. The second is in Tynemouth in front of the Priory (about a 10 minute walk for me).

Heated jacket would be good what type do you recommend? My head was also cold. Not sure what can be done about that

Being a real wimp I have a few. Keiss or EXO are great.

Keiss for me, last week rode to Cardiff from York temp did not get above 5 C and was at 0 C for a couple of hours each morning, keiss jacket and heated grips made the ride enjoyable.

I fitted a DIN socket to the left hand infil panel wired directly to the battery via a fuse . Much easier to pug the jacket in as the socket is just below knee height so no long lead flapping about.
