New boy who needs a seat swap.

Hi, I have recently got my first 1200GS and I am chuffed to bits with it, trouble is I have a low centre of gravity and would do better with a low seat. Is there anybody out there with a black low seat who would like a swap with a mint condition standard seat?

Er... I don't own one, but I was loaned a R1200GS (something like that), and under the seat there are two bars you can adjust to lower the seat?

Have you got these / tried it?

Thanks, I have made sure it is on the lower setting but it is still a bit high for my stumps.

Hi,
I bought my GS from a short in the legs guy, it does NOT have the two positions underneath so i am wondering whether it is a low seat which he put on there. If it works for you, i am happy to swop.

Citybum, sorry for the delay, I've been on my hols. Thanks a lot for the offer but the bike is semi new and I would prefer to hold out for a black seat if I can. Thanks again.
