Just noticed that the new Schuberth Rider Comunication System (SRCS) for C3 helmets are made by Cardo, when I first saw the system I thought the speakers looked just like the ones on my Scala Q2 and that seems to be corrrect, when I zoom in on the picture i see:

Anyway it seems to be a nice system with integrated RDS radio and the standard stuff like A2DP and 300 m range, hopefully it will work with the zumo 660, the Q2 does (most of the time), havent found much more information yet, sold on a few german sites for example louis.de
more info (translated from german):

What a stunning solution. But then it should be at 499SFr which is 300 of our worthless £

I have the BMW flip lid - not the latest one, probably the System 5. Since they are made by Schuberth, any chance they may fit?

I was on the point of getting a Scala Q2 and see you have one. Could you recommend them?

Louis.de sells them for €299, which I think is a fair price.

The Q2 works well as an intercom and the range is good, also works fine with the phone, the radio is a bit hard to use, so I dont, the sound quality is good for intercom use but not for music listening.

Man, that's a geniously designed system. I'm gonna get one and install in my C2. I'm all fed up with Autocom's bad quality breaking cords and dissolving microphone foam pieces. I use 3 motorbikes and prefer a mobile, battery-powered solution to bring along.

The Schuberth SRC comes in two sizes - depending on helmet size;
size 52/53-58/59 and 60/61-64/65.

According to Schuberth this new com-system fits on Concept, C2 and C3 helmets:
http://www.schuberth.com/de/produkte/motorrad/src-system.html
http://www.schuberth.com/en/service...ews/Premiere-Schuberth-Rider-Communica-2.html

..while louis.de claims it only fits the C3 model:
http://www.louis.de/_10d06ee4a0e276...le_context=detail&artnr_gr=20013995&anzeige=0

Polo.de does not claim such C3-only compatibility:
http://www.polo-motorrad.de/shop/He...1503/L/2/Product-detail.productdetails.0.html

I reckon I'll go with Schuberth and have a go on my C2 anyway :beerjug:

The system is geniously :thumb2 easy to fit and it works. Functions with mobile, GPS and other stuff. I fitted mine (C3 helmet) yesterday:) Schuberth states that the system will be avalible for the C2 helmet, but they also says that It'll be for the new version. :clap

SRC system and BMW helmet

I found your thread a bit late but perhaps more has been discovered in the meantime. My partner has new schuberth helmet and seems to have to buy the SRC system as nothing else fits. Price is big. I have a newish 2009 BMW helmet . We both had scala rider q2 systems. Big question...will my scala rider "talk" to a SRC system?? Its enough money for one, let alone two!!

Big question...will my scala rider "talk" to a SRC system?? Its enough money for one, let alone two!!
In the Q&A section of the official Schuberth SRC page I've found this:
Q: With which navigation devices and Bluetooth® systems is the SRC-System™ compatible?
A: The SRC-System™ is compatible with the navigation devices Garmin Zumo 550 and 660, TomTom Rider II and the Cardo Scala Rider systems.

Anyway, I'd be very happy if someone could confirm it! Has anyone tried how Schuberth SRC and Cardo Scala Rider work together?
