New Clutch Hose

Hi,

I have a GS1150 (reg 2000) and I need a new clutch hose (it has rotted where it joins the slave cylinder - as per Steptoe's previous threads). I have tried calling every supplier I can find and there doesn't appear to be a single hose in the country!

So can anyone on here give me the correct dimensions of a replacement hose (and assorted bits-n-bobs) so I can get one made up?

Hi Steve,
just get it from your local BMW dealer - but get the one for an 1150 GSA (Adventure) 'cos it's a braided stainless steel job and you'll never have this problem again

But BMW haven't got any in the country and cannot even give me a best guess when they will have one.

So anyone out there have any dimensions so I can get one made up?

Jono at Adventure Bike Warehouse has been trying to get me one for about 6 weeks....none to be had at the moment. Luckily for me I am replacing as a preventative measure as the old pipe is starting to swell at the slave cylinder, so the bike can still be used.

Motorworks have a few second hand ones, but they are not the stainless steel braided type.

I had exactly the same problem last week, as a result of a post on here I got one from PROBRAKE in Germany off their E Bay site item nos 110514213594.

It was 49 Euros and delivered within 3 days to my door via Airmail.. Superb fit all stainless ends and clear plastic covered.
