new flash card in 2610

has anyone formatted their new card before use in their 2610. there's a warning about not formatting that came with the new memory, but i can't see a way to do it with the gps unit

i don't have a card reader or any other device that can do it either.

I've ben using Crucial cards for a few years, and they always send you that warning printed on fluorescent pink card. Don't worry, as the others have said, just plug & play.
