What are they like for height compared to standard? Looking for a bit more legroom without grounding out.

May be lower but not rode it yet ,cost £110 @ show or £125 normal price but the quality top & there is a good picture of how they work on there website

KTMMARK - I don't know how you got yours, perhaps a show special, coincidentally I enquired to PivotPegz a couple of days ago and got this reply below from them, but perhaps because they are designed in Aus but manufactured in UK, they are now on the boat on their way over here. -

"Hi Peter,

Thanks for your email.

Pivot Pegz are on the way for your bike! We have been developing them for a
while and have just gone into production. We are hoping to have some
available in around 4-5 weeks (just in time for Xmas). If you could email us
on around the 10th of December I'll let you know if they have arrive or how
far away they are.

Kind Regards,

Allen Smith

Pivot Pegz are obtainable from the following supplier and have been for some time:-

Baseline Ltd,
Barn Studio,
Gaterounds,
Parkgate road,
Newdigate,
Surrey,
RH5 5AJ.

I baught mine and have been usind them since 22-08-05.See previouse threads on this site.

Received a sales letter from Neil Challice of Baseline Racing today, they have a stand at the Dirt Bike Show at Stoneliegh Park this week, it is stand No C30 in the trade hall.
Earlier today I forgot to give their telephone No's which are 01306 889911 and mobile 07967 992623.

talked to a couple of guys with these on the bm safari last week. Most useful for standing gear changes and braking - take a bit of getting used to I was told..

Thanks to the post from Ktmmark, I took my credit card to the show on Saturday and did the same as he. Ten minutes on Sunday saw them fitted and me kitting up for a test run. Feels a little wierd when you first put your foot on them, as you dont expect pegs to move do you? After half an hour, I can vouch for the difference they make. It is now much easier to control the rear brake, and while gearshifts are still not perfect, they are a whole heap better. (this is with Tech-8's BTW, I have no problems at all with road boots)
The wierd feeling goes away too :thumb Much more comfortable than the crap OEM efforts, IMHO.
