You may laugh, but in some parts of Asia, most motorcyclists where plastic flip flops.. these Bata things would be a definite implovment. Both my kids have exhaust burns on their lets as at some point in time they have been on freinds bikes in shorts and got off the bike (we are talking Honda cubs here) on the wrong side and got exhaust rash... a very common thing.

These comments encouraged me to examine my (proper) tough leather boots; they are scratched, scored and in a poor state. they need renewing!
