Hi,
Saturday I fitted a new fuel filter to my 850GS.
When riding it, if I open the throttle it feels like I'm running out of petrol, that is it starts to die but then picks up and there is a tiny amount of hunting; but it's mainly when I reach for the throttle.
The filter I've had for a couple of years and it is dated 2005.
The filter was provided by the previous owner as a spare and it certainly looked new.
Any suggestions?
I can't see how I could have kinked the line.
Possibly a breather pipe might be kinked, but there are two of them.
Anything else I might have missed?
I didn't need to replace the clips on the filter as it slid off. Could this be the reason, a leak?
Cheers
