Well, I'm sure things will be different this time.

My son nearly bought a bike from them when he lived in Peterborough but changed his mind at the last moment as the salesman was a “cockwomble “ apparently, what ever one of those is.
He went in to sign up for the bike in uniform (police) and all he got from the salesman was piss taking and his views that the police are wankers.

Rang them up and asked what was going on, the father answered and said they must have made a mistake (yeah right) and they would refund me - which they did but a lower incorrect amount Yeah, JB, all very well, but you dont buy a new bike more than once a decade simply because you’re a fucking tight arse....end of![]()

Nothing wrong with being a tight arse Yorkshire man, its a badge of honour. You know what they say about us yorkshire folk.
A yorky is like a Scotsman with the generosity squeezed out.![]()

JB is 'new Yorkshire', an immigrant that's trying to embrace the cultures of Yorkshire, hence being a tight arse.![]()

Not really, all the family are from Yorkshire.............born and bred, so it's second nature![]()
Nothing to do with that, I could buy one as many times as I like, but I am not as vain as you are
So do fuck off, with your assertions![]()
Just checked mine today, all is well.
Steve.... regardless, get some 9/10H ceramic coating on those cylinder heads ASAP. Especially where my one failed. It won't hurt. Any other liquid protection will probably not work IMO.

What's their explanation for the excessive noise when accelerating and at 70mph?
Been an interesting day. Some dancing around hand bags. Comms from Simon the Wheels GM. It's like he's read the first section in a salesman's training manual.....'don't focus on the customer, don't answer any difficult questions, just focus on where you want to get to - after all, the customer is probably so stupid he won't even notice'
So bad. I'll see if he responds by tomorrow evening but if not I'll let you have a read of the exchange.

Well, here is the news:
Wheels have had the bike through their workshop and I've received an email confirming a full refund less £604 for the 500 odd miles I've done.
I've accepted this to move on from it. I think Wheels have acted in a legally correct and sensible way to conclude this. It was an inevitable conclusion really, just a shame they've lost a customer because of the way it was processed.
