Belgium manufacturer, Tripy, has produced the Roadmaster.

A "GPS" made for bikes, but it's not a real GPS like Garmin or TomTom, but interesting nevertheless, specially for clubs...

Although if you just want a device to record track logs, any cheap GPS should do it, even a Garmin Forerunner for example (a wrist-worn GPS for runners and cyclists).

It's a bit more than that. You don't have the simple marking inputs as a normal GPS has. Anytime you set a way point in a normal GPS, it can take a while, and you need to stop. Here you don't. You can really set what the waypoint is while riding.

Then later at the base you can edit your track easily forming a roadbook. It obviously of little use to the normal rider, but of interest to clubs who regularly go out on ride outs or organize rallys, or touring companies.... or for rally rider to follow the race track.

I see what you're saying. What they're offering seems ot be a limited Sat Nav system with a dedicated "mark waypoint" button and some nice software to make roadbooks with. I think it's the software that will set it apart from the other systems, for the intended purpose anyway.

Yeah, it's the package that's interesting. Had a guy comment on my site from unicornadventures.com, a motorbike tour operator in France, that he's going to look into it. Wish I could get some commission...
