new GS vs old 1150

I'd keep my 1150 GSA SE over all of em!!!!!

If I want to ride a "new" bike I'll take the Street Bob out.....:D

Each to their own.

I have no desire to ride a 1200 hex or lc, i could if I wanted to, but I sold my 1150RT because I was going everywhere at 90+ and rides were getting too samey.

Because I like to take the road less travelled, my trusty 1150 is all the bike I need, that's my choice.

Are the newer bikes quicker? Yes
Do i need that extra speed? No
Do the new bikes handle better? Yes
Do I need that better handlng? No
Is the 1150 easier to maintain? Yes
Do I need a dealer to service the 1150? No
Is my 1150 depreciating whilst in the garage? Very very slowly
Would a 1200 depreciate more? Yes
Can I hold my head high and not be bothered about all these guys riding their newer bikes who think I am jelous and want to be just like them? Most definately:thumb2

Some of us choose to ride a bike that suits them better, rather than keeping up with the joneses.

That second pic doesn't look like old technology to me!!!! That is exactly what the new Boxer feels like :D - I am sure some of the older Tossers can find a granny pic to match the 1150, but I'll stick with the newest model that I can find thanks!
