New GSA Rallye Today - Headlight Protector

Collected my new GSA Rallye this morning, what a difference from my 2014 GSA. The quick shifter is ace, the TFT is ace, love the extra grunt.

Had a few hours ride and then back home to fit some of my farkles, everything fitted except for the Touratech headlight guard, this one :

Am i doing something wrong as this will just not line up, have BMW moved the bolts you use to mount this, the headlight mounting bolts on each side and the front cover just above the headlight fixing bolts ?

I put my touratech grill type headlight guard from my 1200 onto my 1250, it does go but needs a bit of gentle persuasion. the brackets look the same

Why are the front spot lights pointing at the floor?

Just a note: make sure the bike is on it's centre stand when fitting stuff, and don't try to fit it on it's side stand. Any slight twist will cause alignment problems.

The "front end" on the GS/GSA1200 was modified in 2017 which meant that the Wunderlich guard I had fitted to my 2014GS wouldn't fit my current 2018 model. As it's the same part number for the Wunderlich guard for the 2017 on 1200GS/GSAs and the 1250GS/GSAs, I'm wondering if there is a similar issue with the Touratech guard.

I transferred mine from 15 to 17 to 19 GSA. To be fair i thought the last one would not work but it did. Are there some spacers between the bracket and headlight housing bolt?
