Hi, so after a long time considering, a couple of months Factory Order wait, new GSA TE with Lowered Suspension delivered today :))

I can't wait to get out on it for a spin though I have had it delivered for some pre ride TLC bits before doing so, ACF50, Mudsling along with a couple of other farkles. I also have a few parts ordered and am going to do the Factory Tour / fitment with Mark Hooton at Cymarc in the near future,

Big thanks to many of you on here, some knowingly, some not, that have helped 'educate' me to arrive at my choice and I look forward to sharing more in the future,

I will be up for a good few ride outs over the coming months!

Cheers all, Jonno :thumb2 :) :) :beerjug:

Factory Tour / fitment with Mark Hooton at Cymarc

sells good stuff, not heard from mr hooton is he still on the site?

Great bike mate, did you find somewhere to try the size first or just go on a flyer?

Nice bike, I have considered one myself but will probably stick to the standard bike. Enjoy!

Hi Millmax,

Bit of both I guess, I sat on the GSA Lowered Suspension bike at the NEC show which let me know I was happy with the height, then test rode a GS lowered and then ordered.

Looks boss mate, I can fit on my standard GS with the low seat, but I do have to watch the road doesn't disappear :D when I'm stopping, fancy one of those though. :beerjug:

Congratulations Jonno. Have lots of fun with your new bike. :clap

Do you know by how much the factory lowered the suspension?

Hi Marius, it has the Standard seat which has two height settings, 840-mm-860mm, you can also order with an alternative seat to get down to 820mm. Cheers :beerjug:

Hi skid, not sure, I read about the parts he makes on here and then I e-mailed direct to make arrangements with him.

We're same county so easy to arrange a meet up some time so you can compare/assess what you think!

:bow:bow:eyebrow I was ready to trade my 2013 gs for the lowered gsa , but SHMBO said the double glazing comes first :blast oh well next year hopefully.
enjoy it mate its looks good.

dont think he has been too well of late ,Think I recall a post saying this. But he is still making and selling , I have a few bits and made a recent purchase on thursday last week .

Great bike great colour …my friend has the lower version and he put a side stand "foot" on it, but it lifted the bike quite vertical and was for ever close to the floor when leaning into bends, so its been removed

I have the same bike in the same colour and the Wunderlich foot does make the bike a bit close to vertical. Not a problem but you bed to be aware on uneven ground. Plus side is that getting it off the side stand is a piece of cake!

DC, I'm adding the Wunderlich "foot" (http://www.nippynormans.com/product...nture-lc-for-lowered-bikes-only-wun-27380-600) so cheers for the heads up, I will be extra careful!! :beerjug:[/QUOTE]

That looks like a new one esp for the Lower version ,so I think you will be ok with that . My friend had a "normal " wunderlich one and sent it back to NN who at the time said this was the only one they did . So good to see they are listening to customers and addressing the needs of us

Enjoy the bike

I have the Wunderlich sidestand enlarger R1200GS/Adventure LC (FOR lowered bikes ONLY) and the bike still has plenty of lean on it.
