New GSA to be ordered today

Hi All

Have been offered a white GSA- cancelled order- so available in a couple of weeks. From not my usual dealer.

Does anyone know the usual waiting time for one of these? My local BMW dealer said I would be lucky to get one for next March! Cant quite believe this. Would like to buy one from them but if he cant get one- I`ll get it from Leeds. Local chap can do servicing anyway. Feel a little disloyal but I bought an S1000R from them this year anyway.

A question- the BMW alu boxes look too big- are there any smaller side boxes available?

That lead time is BS. You can get them much quicker, if you have a good dealer that knows where to look.

GSA's are coming through for dealer stock now

NOG had two free stock bikes sat in their showroom at the end of August so March is just bollocks

Done the dirty deed-collection in next week or so. PX`d my GS Rallye- I`ll cry when that bike goes. But the GSA WC is a much better bike.

The thing I havent done is order luggage- think I might go for a small top box and my Kreiga gear- I always travel light.

I`ve done 2000 miles in three weeks on my S1000R- (thats with riding two other bikes too ) -so a few 1000 by the end of the year- bring it on!!

The vario boxes are narrower and lighter but the whole rear rack that comes with the bike has to be changed over
