hi...im in a bit of a ...say... shall i do it or shall i not...sort of thing.....at present i have got a honda cbf 1000....and have been offered a trade in against a new gsa with comfort pack only....i have till the end of the week to make up my mind.....could i regret the move to bmw gs land or will i think it was the best move i ever made.....i have rode the 1200 gs and found it strange but i was lelf with thee feeling i wanted more time with it.....love the look of the gsa.....im 6 ft....32 leg....also is it possible to fit the vario boxes to the gsa.....as im not keen on the alu ones........help....

go back and ask for another test ride, BMW Oxford let me borrow GS/GSA's for a total of 6 hours.

It got them a sale :D

You either love em or hate em, a bit like marmite. On my 2nd GS. I've had my GSA for 2 years now, done over 25000 miles and it still makes me smile. No major problems and looking forward to the next 25000 :bounce1 . And yes you can fit the varios but will need the fittings from the Standard GS. Ask the dealer about it :thumb2.

new gsa....

well after a day of thinking and doing some homework ive decided to go for the gsa in red.....now im faced with what packages to go for...do i play safe and keep it basic ...less to go wrong.....or go for the lot...esa ect.......must admit the gsa lots the part .....

If you want the Vario's I'd think the Dealer may be able to fit you a set instead of the Ally ones, if they're still doing the free deal I'd think that the dealer would be happy as the Vario's cost less ;)

Either that or get the bike with the Ally panniers, then advertise them on here with the frames etc... or offer a swap for vario luggage plus a bit of cash :thumb

Welcome to the site- I don't think you'll regret the change to a GS ;)

I got a red gsa 3 month ago with all the options. Go for the lot mate. It`ll help the resale value as much as owt!
A mate of mine is looking at secondhand gsa`s and wont even look at any `basic`` spec ones.
Also I think the ESA is ace. You will not regret buying a gsa `cept yer missus maybe `cos your never at home...:D

Keep an eye out in the North East section for ride outs, meeting etc, enjoy your new bike:thumb2
