Looked at one today in Pidcocks- the GSA with the two tone seat looked much better than the plain red seat on the GS :thumb

Out of interest what colour where the sides of the tank under the white? I too have ordered one but was a bit pissed when I noticed the original images showd silver but the one ive seen in the flesh had black?

A reliable source from BMW tells me the black were a mistake from the factory and that the designers had gone for silver parts?

Barry:nenau

I have been informed mine will have silver!

oh yeah

i nearly did too but couldnt justify mine is only 8 months old
not sure about the new power though almost too smooth

is faster but seems slower

will be good off road tho

I to looked at one yesterday whilst my 2009 GSA was having brake pipe recall done, so i took advantage of having a test ride on the new twin cam GSA demo bike. It had 850 miles on it on leaving the shop I saw the fuel warning light was on and it was saying 10 miles! So I had to be trusting as the petrol station was about 5 miles away, steady Eddie I was then after fueling her up i was off.

I rode out to some countryside road going through the towns 30 mph streets etc i noticed how smoother the low range was than my bike. Up into the twist and turns and the engine braking did seem better? So i then took it to a fast cornering section and fast straight. Section not much difference than my bike if any.
Riding back to the dealers i thought about the 30th adv model and then thought well my bike has low milage but I then start to convince myself as i have started using the Beemer more than my other bikes that maybe i should change.

On arriving back and discussing price to change etc about 5k I thought blow it i will buy some Remus headers and a akro can and that will give the the engine note and a little more mids..... So i have them coming and will see next week when i have installed them, like my red 2009 colour to!
And they have moved the gear change indicator over to the left? And the black electric switch box on the exhaust for the control flap looks naff....

Ride safe

Big D :-)
