A former car showroom (was a Lotus dealership for a while) in Ellison Road Dunston seems to be in the process of being opened as a HD dealer. Big sign outside says "Jennings Harley Davidson Soon" - it's near to Jennings Ford Dealership
Tyneside, is there a need for Harleys up there?
Perhaps they fucked up, it will be interesting to see how long it lasts.....I give it 24 months, I really cannot see a need for it that far North and in a part of the UK that mainly deals with poverty.
The one in Newcastle, near the huge Audi dealer closed 18 months ago..... Someone else having a go..

Thanks everyone - I feel so encouraged to remain part of the forum. I knew there was a lot of soft southern shites who were members but didn't realise they were so unwelcoming ... it's not as if I'm a Harley rider!

Dunston is a curious location for a Harley dealership.... I'm sure the rent is low, but the one on the Silverlink is surely a much safer location?

If it is Jennings the Ford dealer branching out into bikes then it mat be because the premises are near to their Ford car and Transit premises. The location offers good communications both north and south via the nearby A1

I'm told that the reason the proprietors of the Triumph dealership in Newcastle and the HD dealership in North Tyneside (Silverlink) - who were the same company - lost or gave up both brands is that the manufacturers required that they had an exclusive showrooms. In each case the company were selling other marques from the locations and weren't prepared to make them exclusive
