New jacket

As per title iam looking for a new jacket preferably touring or adventure style. I have up to £250 to spend so can anyone recommend a decent textile coat for this money.

Some decent Hein Gericke stuff comes up on Ebay. I have seen Gore-Tex Pro Shell jackets go there at that (or below) price point. Worth a look IMHO

I had a master v suit. Every bit as good as the Rukka stuff i have now. I bought leather jeans off this seller the other week and they were spot on. I also offered less than his asking price (£25 if i remember right). Just so you know i have no connection with the seller.

Having bought my Rukka breeks from Raw Biker, they're good but not exactly cheap. I think I paid £280 for them but then again, they were £800 when they were new. However, I think I paid £150 for my as new Master V Jacket on eBay. The one in the link is twice that price and is the less desirable Gore Lockout zip version.

FC Moto

A word about FC Moto. I have ordered two items from their website just recently. First item i received an email after 7 days to say that the item was no longer available. Second item after 7 days of ordering online no update. Called could not get through. Sent them an email to which the replied saying i should contact them by phone for an update Eventually got them by phone. The update-- waiting for stock that item it will be May! Obviously i cancelled my order. By contrast i ordered Rukka trousers a couple of weeks back from Biker-land which arrived within 7 days of purchase. The item i was trying to order from FC Moto was a Rukka jacket (because it was slightly cheaper than Biker-land). Lesson learned.

This place has a huge selection of stuff. It's in Boston, Lincs.. They've been very helpful when I've rung them & on the one occasion I visited.
I'm hoping to get a new jacket & troos soon & will be heading here to hopefully get fettled.

Whatever you get make sure that it is Gortex, remember 'there's no bad weather, just bad gear' get the best that you can possibly afford.

There must be loads of decent second hand gear about at a 1/3rd retail prices.

Equally, mine arrived 5 days after order from fcmoto, but I suppose with heavily discounted stock it can sell out quick and you might be left waiting.
