New M1000XR has arrived.

My new M1000XR arrived on Friday, traded the smaller M1000R in and went for some added comfort for my old joints

First service, then Akrapovic Titanium headers & a remap to remove the 2nd, 3rd & 4th gear restrictions. The remap totally changed the M1000R, hoping for similar results with the M1000XR.

Very nice, I wanted one but the seat height was the issue, too tail, the bike not me…NN does some luggage for these now.

I doubt they will do a low height version, you can get a low seat though.
I have Kreiga luggage which is enough for me for 2 weeks touring.

Ive just got the Std Xr TE as I need a top box and panniers
Would be interested in where you had the remap done as Id also like the restriction in 2nd 3rd and 4th removed and the cold start revs taken down a bit

There are a few tuners who do bespoke Rolling road tuning on these now, I'd personally recommend P3 Tuning at Liverpool but I'm sure there will be similar companies nearer to you.

I'd be interested to know how you get on,price etc. I have a 2025 XR with the M package.

Price was £525.00 for a full bespoke map with dyno runs but they are taking bookings for the beginning of August !! August For feks sake I might not have the bike by the beginning of March LOL
