I have done few mods to improve the throttle lock and make it even more versatile
It now comes with 3 groves so it is adjustable over a wider range and a few tweaks to the dimensions
Will be supplied with 3 o-rings and 2 zip ties
If you would like one PM me
Price is £12.50 posted :thumb2

I have an older one which still works fine. :)

+1 :thumby:

Excellent little bit of kit that is so simple to use and saves wrist fatigue on long runs. Have used one now for over 11k miles.

Recommended and not exactly a "bank breaker" like some other throttle locks that can be fiddly to use.

I might get a new one, but +1 for the original design, still using mine and works, simple, robust and just works what more can you ask.

There was nothing wrong with the MK2 it worked fine in my opinion
But some people wanted it a bit tighter and MK3 is more adjustable
This also makes the MK3 more versatile if you have more than one make of bike you want to use it on

Received mine today. Thanks Garry H. What an easy to use bit of kit. Well made and very useful. 😊

Sorry to say my mark one failed years ago, the double o rings were ok for a while, then the cable tie fix worked for a long time, it too failed. Great gadget but it does fail...especially if bike outside a lot

counterpoint experience: I have a mark 2 and have never needed to use the o rings. The device still works perfectly as it is. It lives on the bike and still grips strongly.

Cable tie fix worked for a long time, it too failed...Yep this sounds like a real problem
Small cable tie A SMALL FORTUNE TO REPLACE :augie

Mine has been on the bike for who knows how long. The O rings never did very much and soon broke but it still works fine.

For those who ask about worn bar grips. All you need is some snooker cue heat shrink sleeve over the grips to take the wear and it handily tightens your throttle stop just that little bit.
