its funny that when i insure my car nobody ever says do you every carry passengers ,i never did get why bike insurers ask that question,its got two seats and rear footpegs,just assume yes sometimes

presumably, compared to cars, personal injury claims by pillions after an accident are substantial and therefore those who carry a pillion need to bear the cost of that risk rather than it being spread amongst the vast majority of riders who ride solo all of the time.
