Moral of the story is dont buy from Nippy Normans. There seems to be lots of problems with NN recently.

My only gripe with NNs is everything by email and no phone contact but they have been fine with me and quick service.

With an Optimate keep it simple plug in connection direct to battery. No canbus hassle and a certain secure connection. HHCIB?

I'm another one waiting for a reply from NNs...sent two e-mails recently with a query about a product I've already bought from them, and to date no answers at all. Not very impressed and will look elsewhere next time.

Send it back and buy a C Tek charger, i have both but the Ctek is far superior in my opinion, i have just connected to the battery terminals on my 05 1200GS and it works fine.
