You can plug it into the aux socket on the RHS of the cockpit if yours is the DIN type providing you have the associated plug with the optimate, but IIRC you'll need to select the canbus setting on the optimate if you do decide to charge it that way. Alternatively fit the SAE lead that came with it to the red battery post under the red plastic top hat and the negative battery terminal behind the RHS triangular side panel. I did the latter and use that flying lead to power my heated vest as well as providing the power outlet for my airman pump should I ever need it.
