Hi all,
Well, I have been thinking about it for a while now and at last I did it today !!!
The CBR1000RR was getting too uncomfortable as I got older and the rides became longer. My hooning around the road on Saturdays and Sundays are over and I want to travel to far off places (Birmingham and Norwich)
....and maybe more exotic locations.
Went over to 'North Oxford Garage', purely for a look around you understand. Started off looking at the GS and THEN................I saw a gorgeous GSA (2007)........quite high mileage 18000...but in fantastic condition and sounds really tight. Then guess who walks in as I was doing the deed..............the previous owner!!!! What a coincidence eh?
Got chatting and looked over his new red GSA....so Paul if you should ever read this.thanks for looking after your bikes so well. I promise to keep up the tradition.
I am off to The Horizons Unlimited meeting on Thursday and North Oxford are getting the bike ready for me for Wednesday.................Many thanks Steve and thanks to the Service guy (sorry forgot name) who turned down all offers of strange practices and squeezed the inspection into a really tight schedule out of the kindness of his heart.
So.........anyone who sees a Champagne coloured 07 GSA at the meeting and the rider has a mile wide grin.that will be me.......come up and say hi.....I have lots to learn.
Ian
