Hi everyone, I bought an old R80RT 8 weeks ago to convert to a Cafe Racer. Ive zero experience with building bikes of any kind but I am reasonably practical and have a decent set of tools.
Anyway, this is where im up to so far:
Decided rather than just buying the bolt on stuff from Vonzeti I would just try to modify my own stuff. The subframe is off to be seam welded on wednesday but as you can see the frame and swingarm have already been stripped and powdercoated.
Next headache ive got is to figure out digital speedos and idiot lights, I read here that Boxerworks could supply a plug and play loom but so far ive had no response from them.
