The set that I'm interested in is the Xplorer and the prices that I have got from Motobins are:

"The Xplorer range should be available around April / May time. Please see prices below.

30ltr xplorer pannier @ 215.00gbp + VAT each

45ltr xplorer pannier @ 225.00gbp +VAT each

45ltr xplorer top box @ 225.00gbp + VAT"

Motobins quoted me £431.25 including vat for a pair of black Gobi's and £195.50 for a top box but they did not have the black in stock.

I ended up sourcing them from a German supplier, £400 for the panniers and £177.26 for the top box.

Hepco and Becker Xplorer

I have rung H&B DE and they remain uncertain about delivery - a couple of weeks soon became 'maybe longer' when I explained the impending deadline on my forthcoming trip....
Surely somebody must have a despatch date for the panniers - I understand there are design issues with the topbox that are unlikely to be resolved this year......

I need panniers and it seems crazy to make them available when most of us will have to be equipped before not 'sometime' during the season...

Still got the Gobis but not the 800 so unfortunately I cant help with a picture of just the frames fitted.

The frames though are quick release and when not in use can be removed in minutes so there's nothing left to see really.

I will probably have a set in silver for sale from today when I collect my new bike.

I went for the H&B Wimowa alu ones. Really pleased. I like the idea of them being interchangeable if you put the same rails on each bike.

I may just do that and get new rails for my RT.
