New PC, cannot access my e-mail account

i have an Orange e-mail account, running fine on my old PC this morning. When I try to open it on this PC, a message reads,

"Your email address or password are not recognised. Please try again."

Any suggestions to rectify this?

Is this a webmail account, or Outlook/another mail client? If the latter, try w to see if the problem is at the Orange end of things. If webbmail works, and Outlook does not, it might be one of the Outlook settings, check them in the old machine against the new one.

Since you say "this PC" I assume you have working internet access.

Internet access is fine. i didn't use Outlook on my old machine.

How are you trying to access Webmail/POP/IMAP?

All I do is got to Orange via Google.

What error message did you get?

same as before:

"Your email address or password are not recognised. Please try again."

i looked up problems with Orange e-mail , and it seems I'm not the only one having the problem.
