In March 2004 the new R1200GS will be presented. The only thing I know is that it's weight is far below 250 kilogram, around 30 kg less! An expected curb weight of around 484 pounds or lbs as you British say (220 kg).
But which parts are going to be responsable for this 'weight-watcher' effect?
The cardan transmission is totally changed, I read, but that is lighter? Or will the frame be greatest gain?
