Personally I don't mind the 'thing', even though it seems like you have a disliking to it.But there’ll always be one **** on a GS

I guess that explains your nick.
Don't worry, I am openminded,. You may enjoy your 'thing' all you like![]()
Good job they did.
KTM are already the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in Europe. Just think if all of the cûnts who bought GSs off the back of LWR and LWD had bought KTMs instead.......
(KTM sold 261,000 bikes in 2018 compared to 165,000 by BMW.)
There was a recall on the Brembo calipers on my bike.....Front and Rear.

Brembos on front and rear new 1250I dont have a 1250.
The recall was on my Ducati a while ago. according to the service chap Ducati were on the brink of ditching Brembo because of the numerous issues they were having with quality.
Not sure how he knew this but didnt care as I got lots of spangly stuff and a day out on the new V4s for the inconvenience.
Happy days
They wouldn't be the same ones unless you shared them?![]()

KTM are mainly an off road competition bike manufacturer, whose bikes need servicing every few hundred miles, not good for reliable road use - they were late to the game of road bike manufacture and they are still learning - they’ll get there eventually - and when they get their bikes properly sorted I’ll consider buying one.

IIRC the KTM road bike range has 9500 mile service schedules
Remind me again what the service schedule mileages are for your new GS ?![]()

He doesn’t have a new one as he isn’t confident enough to buy one yet,due to all the issues such as this thread.
But he’ll have to buy a new bike before his warranty is up,as nobody ever keeps a modern GS outside of warranty due to the shocking reliability.
At what year do you reckon modern bikes are not kept anymore, or do you mean the whole LC range...

I’d say since the LC range started.
My 800 looks like new and is 10 years old.But that was before BMW got greedy and enticed in muppets like The Fuse Tester who would have to change their bikes every two,now three years or risk it going pop just outside of warranty.
