OK. Probabally me being a complete numpty but here goes.

I have an existing Kenwood TK 3101 rigged up to Autocom

I buy 2 brand new Kenwood TK 3201 from very nice people at Wildtalk

They configure(?) all 3 radios so they will work together.....supposedly(!)

They also supply in helmet speakers for new radios.

Problem: New radios work together as stand alone walkie talkies no problem. The minute i plug in one of the helmet speakers. it will not recieve any transmission but the little light in the top indicates that it is recieving something....???

Try and talk to bike mounted radio from standalone walkie talkie....nothing.
And vice versa.

All on the same channel, not using vox, but a PTT.

Very confused:confused::confused:

Any ideas?

Cant think of anything. Did they supply the right kind of plug for the helmet speakers? Most Kenwood plugs have two jacks toghether on the same base - one 2.5mm and one 3.5mm. THough if the two headsets are only meant to receive (like for trainee riders) then they wouldnt need one of the jacks I suppose...

Best ring Wildtalk! :nenau

Actually, if one of them is showing that it is permantely receiving something then its possible that another radio is permanentely transmitting and therefore blocking all other signals...
