Just got a flyer through from SWT for new 18” rear wheels to fit monolever GS. Look good and price not unreasonable.

And this one

the tank is just a little bit too much for me…

Will stay with the basic tank….unless Santa recon I’ve been REALLY good this year!

That's what I ended up paying for a NOS one a few years back. Must be mad! But then again, you can't take it with you
True…no pockets in a shroud….
But still cannot justify the cost for a bigger tank when I actually like how my basic looks with the smaller tank.
Don’t think I’d get the benefit of the bigger tank really….. just fewer petrol stops when on a long run, and I need to stop these days for a pee and a leg stretch, so don’t mind if I have to stop every 125 miles or so.

Big tank came in handy for me on a trip back to France from the UK last year. The starter relay failed on the ferry. After about 3 hours of trying I managed to get it bump started with three lads pushing and then rode it all the way back to Bourges without switching it off again, thankfully I filled the tank before getting onto the ferry!
