New recall

Just had a letter from BMW is advising me the rear wheel flange is prone to cracking if the torques are incorrect and will be replaced as soon as a new one is available. I thought there would be more on the subject here, is it only a small batch? Mine is March 2014, cast wheel std LC

Been announce a while about 350,000 bikes I think world wide, 2004 to 2011 R and K series I think . My 1200 S 2007, received letter 2 days ago, but got to wait for second letter, as parts shortage.Didnt think it went past 2011, but it obviously does.

You sure the lettering isn't referencing a previous bike you've had?

Up to April 2011 according to the above

in other words : does not apply to all the Watercooled bikes.
