I've a 4 valve 2011 RT and had the 2 valve 1200 before that. I've tried the new one, I've got 2 kids in private school and I commute in London so in reverse order:
RT great for running from Kent to Central London, does the M'ways great and can kepp up with the Vespa's in town
1 kid = a new RT, they're not in year 11+ yet, that my friend is cheap!
New RT - not convinced, you can't hide the 50 KG that's appeared in this form. I think my one is the gem (way better than the 2 valve) and of course last of the air cooled bikes. Remember when Porsche went from 993 to 996? If you haven't tried one do, you could save a packet.
Trouble was I tried a S1000R at the same time and 500 quid appeared before I knew it....
