New Schuberth C4 And R2 helmets to arrive in Spring 2017!!!!!

I've recently had a conversation with a local retailer about a C3 pro with integral comms. He said to wait for the new Sena fits and I agree as I think they make a better comms package. He also mentioned that it would be possible to order as a factory fit and if done so the comms would be vat free.

Schubeth you say ?

Worst customer service in the Industry.
My C3Pro , like many others is a disaster.

Leaks and provides a waterfall straight into your eyes.

Been returned twice, now the subject of a county court claim.

Buyer beware!

I sell alot of C3 Pro's, I have had afew with this problem but not enough to cause me concern to stop selling the product. The customers that I sold to that reported this had the seal replaced by the importer 'Tran-am' an this sorted the problem. Contact your dealer or speak to them direct and they can fix this for you. From what I understand this has been addressed in the C4 design now though

Mine wasn't. It went back to Tranam (twice) who sent it back to Schuberth in Germany (twice) after getting folds down the inside of the visor. Each time it was gone for over six weeks, so in my first 3 months of ownership I only had the helmet for 2 weeks. Each time it came from Schuberth who claimed there was no problem. Eventually I reached an agreement with Infinity to swap it for a Neotec.

Crap service all round!

Infinity motorcycles do 20% off any comms kits if you buy new helmet at same time. This is basically because we in the U.K. do not pay VAT on helmets so by right if comma kit bought and installed at same time, it then becomes part of the helmet.

I agree to disagree,

Schubert are great at customer service. Same issues as yours helmet is three years ol and was sold with 5 year warranty. Was a subject to warranty repair, but (TranAm) uk importer said because it was purchased before Jan 2014 is t was only covered by two year warranty. A quick email to Schubert directly has rectified my query and new visor, pinlock, front EPS and seals have bee installed and returned in less than 5 days. I'm certainly very happy with Schubert, not a UK importer who tried to wash their hands of it.

Got the shoei multitec which has been superseded by the neotec but also have the sena 20s, so need a helmet flip that fits the 20s.
To get a sena comms internally on a flip would be good, Think i will be waiting till spring. and then sell the 20s

I have a C3 pro and on a naked bike it's excellent however with a screen it's not too god with water running inside the visor in heavy rain and very poor hot weather ventilation. Basically given that Schuberth are supposed to be a premium design led brand I'm not convinced by what they offer. I wouldn't buy another.

I had the same experience. A waterfall inside the helmet every time it rains!
Absolute cun*ts, returned twice - but still leaks.

Evskij, even with new parts - mine still leaked. What was i expected to do ? Return it a third time?

Now the subject of a county court claim.

Schubeth have the worst customer service in the industry. I'll be posting the court claim results when its completed.

I also have to say Schubeth misrepresented the crappy SRC comms thing.

Now I see they gently move to ( the respected and industry standard, dominant , SENA) without admitting the previous SRC was total crap !

Beware of Schubeth! It seems there are lots experiencing leaks ; see here

I have a C3 also, plus the SRC system plus all the usual problems; - visor, leaks, & useless SRC. Tran-Am were at much use as a chocolate teapot, and Schuberth said there was nothing wrong.

It's a pity that the after-sales is so poor. I really like the helmet, but would never buy another, or recommend Schuberth to anyone.

.
Hopefully i can wire you the outcome of the court hearing - maybe get £800 back for you too Mallard?

If it was cheap / mid-price I'd tolerate it .( perhaps)
But ; These bastards pretend they are top-end and high - quality. Absolutely crooked.

I think I've had it too long for that Stuart. It's a great helmet in summer but when it's cold and the cheek pads are soggy it's not very nice at all. Not much 'vorspung durch technik' in Schuberth.

I seem to remember that a solicitor from (I think) Dalton White, took Schuberth to court on the very same issues and won. So there's hope for you yet.

i've had a C3 and now a C3 pro and my wife has a C3 and never had a problem with water ingress , only the visor slamming shut over 50mph (which I fixed ).

My old C2 and S1 Pro have also been problem free, I must have used all my luck up on Schuberth helmets and lucked out on my GSA LC instead

Cardo is to blame for producing a shite bit of kit that has few updater per annum than ints own products. I agree it isn't great but still manages to do the job when it wants to work.

Having said that, I bought touratwat mod thingy helmet, a kind of adventurised E1 which is based on a c3, and its brilliant. Doesn't leak or anything, and it was only 525 English pounds, or about 8 euros.

Ps, floods, of course, not folds

You got a great deal on the TT helmet. All currency gags to one side............that lid is €880 over here (Ireland) with one of the colour graphics.

Hello

Here's the line up for the 2017 Schuberth C4 colours as promised

http://justhelmets.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=313&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=302

No prices yet but will let you know when available, we will be offering Ex vat prices on buying a combo kit. Plus voucher codes giving another 10% off.

As mentioned before I sell loads of Schuberths and SRC and yes there is always the odd issue but only one one or two and not in recent years, the SRC system gives me zero problems, infact I have almost fine tuned my business around it. I also sell Shoei as well though.

Cheers

Pete

I am however having server problems at the moment so if that link does not work please try again later
