I believe Sena do a dedicated cable for the SR10/Kenwood connection, but as you say I'd need a separate battery eliminator. The usual earth loop interference problems associated with battery eliminators probably aren't a problem with the Autocom removed.I haven't used the SR10, but it's got a mini DIN input, so you'd need a cable from the Kenwood to the SR10 and it wouldn't power the radio the same way the Autocom battery eliminator does.
I currently use ear buds so the sound quality is probably as good as it's going to get, hence the nervousness about going to a BT install!
