Cracking bit of kit. Hadn’t even ridden one but bought this 20 month old bike unseen from 200 miles away today. The sound via the Vertex Tasmania is something else. Handles amazingly well for a twin rear shocker that are slagged everywhere you read.

Will trim the beard and head off to the biker coffee shop tomorrow 👀IMG_3396.jpegIMG_3397.jpegIMG_3402.jpeg

Nice, I have been looking at these. I haven’t got the tats or the beard yet. Health to ride.

I often wonder where these opinions about suspension come from, and why mine are often different. I had a Tiger 800, criticised by many for its suspension and the OEM Tourance Nexts but I found it just fine when the sag was set up correctly; the suspension on my current CB500X gets praise from many but I find as soon as you get much above bimbling speed it’s “entertaining” and not in a good way.

How are you getting on with this? There's a nice 900 (2021 with 300 miles) local to me at a reasonable price...looks lovely to just have for those sunny rides out.

Still brings a smile to my face every time there’s a sunny dry day……..so it’s been packed away a while. 👀😂

Honestly don’t see this one going anywhere soon.

It’s a great time of year to buy these bikes, lots of people unable to justify the cost of something sat in the garage. Loads of bargains on the Speed Twin 1200 fb forum coming up daily. I wouldn’t rush into a 900 as you’ll want the 1200 and it’s a buyers time of year.

Thanks. I'd not really been looking at the 1200 mainly due to price (I live in France)...it'll get towed behind the camper down to spain and Portugal in Jan-Mar and elsewhere in Europe throughout the year...so a short distance day trip bike...I'll see how much more a 12 would be....price and weight.

I’ve got bikes with both the 1200 HP and 1200 HT engines.

Cracking engines, there a reason Triumph sell boat loads strapped to various bikes.

I now find myself after a Street to go with the others
