New Triumph dealership in Deeside.

Any idea as to why they lost triumph?

I presume it was due to the strong arm of the Completely Motoring Group and the amount of bikes they currently sell

My friend is a good mate of Bill Smiths son who now runs the shop (Bill is in his 90s now I think) and I know he is very bitter about losing the franchise

Bill Smiths have taken over the Completely dealership on Deeside and have taken over the Triumph business that was based there, employing some of the old Completely staff.

Yes good to see Billys has the Triumph franchise back after the Completely (fukkun useless) Motorcycles went bust.

I’m glad Bills have it back but as for returning staff then I’m not so sure. While a couple were fine I had some rubbish service from some of them and excuses by the dozen.

Bill Smiths have recently picked up Kawasaki, sectioning off part of their showroom with new flooring. Not sure they will be sticking with Indian following the orange child’s tarrifs.

In other news Synchronised Motorcycles have taken over the workshop and about 10% of the floor space at the former Woods/ Completely in Abergele. They had about fifteen pre owned bikes when I went in there six weeks ago, but the main thrust looked to be servicing.

I bought a bike from them before they went bust last year. Not the greatest buying experience and the sales boy now works for Halliwell Jones Motorrad 😩

I've always had excellent service at Bill's. Hopefully they will do some training of the Triumph staff.

I dropped into Bill Smiths Triumph yesterday - they are only selling new bikes from there all the secondhand bikes and Triumph servicing we be done from the main shop in (near) Christleton

I like the look of the 800 Tiger Sport

I called in there today. Not much in there and the staff don’t seem that friendly. The guy sat next to the door didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in, even though he was not doing anything. Glad I took my money to Youles in Blackburn now for my Speed Twin 1200.

Amazes me these sales guys are staring at their screens when you go in. When you look its often bikes on ebay they are browsing. So either checking their online stock or sussing out the competition. Clearly in both cases more compelling than a real customer walking around their physical showroom
