Strange isn't it. For me the PST2 has the most feel of any tyre I have ever used, they may not be the grippiest but with good feel you can use all of it. They reward a smoother style of riding.

Strange isn't it. For me the PST2 has the most feel of any tyre I have ever used, they may not be the grippiest but with good feel you can use all of it. They reward a smoother style of riding.
Grip is the saviour , smooth or not , its logic . I ride smooth and fast and the CTA3 feeds the information back so well it allows for the unseen lack of vision that always lurks around the corner which always happens . For me grip out weighs all , they get hot , stay hot and keep you upright , smooth is good but grip is better as smooth can also allow you to get complacent with your style .
Still need to try the PST 2 tho .
I have the ST2 on the pikes peak and i am impressed with them in honesty. Plenty of grip and feedback and at no point have they given me a sneaky bum despite some of the greasy slippy road conditions.
my only concern is that there are no chicken strips left and yet the bike feels as though it has so much more to lean and i feel that i am not really trying to get to the very edge and of course the roads are not yet warming up so may be a different story when pushed hard on warm dry roads

Try the Corsa on the Duc way more grip and edge to edge glory as you put it , lol , , they are great and suit the bike well , way better than the PST2 as the bike is a different animal to the GS , not better , just different in all respects.

It’s is not hard , smooth is great , put a few ifs and buts in things as the ride develops it becomes un smooth add a bit of nutter and it’s win win , add mr sensible it gets messy , I’m no riding god but some who think they are always so smooth get into trouble , over thinking the moment rather than riding it . Thinking out of the box works

after five years of Anakee 3, Ive just had PR5 Trail fitted, Only rode home, 10 miles, but did notice the difference in noise. Hope they last as long ?
I don't think they will last 5 years.

I totally believe what they say about not all super hero’s wearing capes there is some amazing people out there....
However I would love to hear your bollox analogy of the following pictures
1: Michelin Anakee Adventure 350 miles boots scraping on the ground lots of changes of underpants.
2: Metzeler Roadtec 01, 8 miles not scrubbed in boots not on the ground clean underpants.
My personal theory and is Michelin Anakee Adventure are shit !!!!

I’m interested in the Anakee Adventures. Apart from NJW’s opinion, almost every other feedback post on them across the internet say they are excellent. I’d be willing to give them a try if the conditions were likely to be as Michelin designed them for: 20% off-road.

I Have these still for sale they were supposed to have sold to a forum member but not had any response for a few days £90 Plus Delivery
Like I said despite comments I was not slagging them off they just don't suit me, and tyres are a very personal thing
