My GSA 1300 is coming up for irs first service begining of July and I have 10K (km) on the clock. Probably looking to change the tyres before I go to Spain later in the year. I think the bike came with the Anakee Roads. Any recommendations for a road wet / dry tyre? I know its subjective but interested in any feedback from GSA owners. No offroading, just street

Just had a pair of Road Attack 4s on mine (standard 1300GS), so far I’m loving them

Had RA3s and TA3s on my 1200, the RA were not as quick steering as the TAs but don’t track tar snakes or white lines and are not floaty at motorway speeds like the TAs, so I prefer the RA

Another vote for Conti Road Attack.
Dunlop Roadsmart 4 also very good. Just done 3k on some, down to price tbh, there was a £75 difference in price this time around and I have found the Roadsmart also a good choice on a GS previously.

I would also advocate sport touring rubber on a GS for road use only. You won't go wring with the latest version of the Conti Road Attack

I have the same situation for the V85, needing new rubber before the Spain trip. If you want the ADV look, then I have been impressed with the Dunlop Trailmax Meridian fitted as OE on my bike, so I have to decide whether to replace with the same or some sport tour tyres.

On the 1200 I've had a couple of sets of Dunlop Trailsmart, it's a road tyre, and I found both excellent.
This thread (this is towards the end of a Spanish trip) shape. I had them a few years back, not sure if it changed much:

Used them on track too and behaved magnificently on dry and (very) wet. 😲

Then, in between an endless number of TKC70s at some point I wanted a road tyre and put on some Pirelli Scorpion Trail. Again very good, especially the support while cornering and overall tyre profile.
I know it is very subjective, but I liked them less in the wet.

Good shout for a sport touring tyre, but even these will be more than enough.

Likewise. Been tuning RA3 on my past and present bikes. Great tyres!

Just fitted Bridgestone AT41s transformed the Bike got rid of the Metzelers early

Really like the conti ra4. Nothing wrong with the original tourance but the ra4 are better.

I reckon the profile suits the GS as well. It's slightly less quick steering and more stable the the tourance.

…..No offroading, just street
Metzeler Tourance Next 2
Unshakable. 👍
Exceeded 8,000 miles on a pair which is the best I’ve had since my Honda Pan Euro Battlax tyres.

Downside, they’re shit on wet grass.

Just put on your favourites or those you have the most confidence with.

I'm a Michelin fan and have only used the road series.

Quite an old tyre (tech) now. Not saying it is shit, as used them myself twice, before moving to RA3.

Road 6s were outstanding on my 1250GS. Picos, Pyrenees and the Alps. Really confident and agile tyre. Let you know what's going on. Good for about 5,000 miles on the rear.

I have Next 2s on my 1300GSA. They're fine, but not as agile as the Road 6.

On my 1250GS I originally had tyres which had the number '41' in the brand. Can't remember who made them. No communication and not very agile nor reassuring in the wet. Got rid before they wore out.
