New vario topbox not closing properly

The topbox on my new bike is difficult to close on the right corner. It seems to need a few attempts, taps or thumps to 'persuade' the lid to close.

Is there a technique I'm failing to apply or is this a duff box that needs to go back to the dealer?

I haven't encountered this before on the old style vario box I had on my previous bikes.

Mines faultless - gets loads of use on & off the bike regularly as well as open close, given the cost - take it back for replacement there should not be an issue

Mine's the same, have to push in the orange tab to get it to shut.
