New xenon headlamp

No one seems to mention it, I personally think standard halogen lights on the 1200's are not up to much at night, at a chunk of £££ I'm assuming they're better than great, I would want a new LC with one on..

I've had a couple of quotes but not quite ready to spend yet.. (Unless any dealer out there wants to make an offer on a 11plate GSA with 9k on it)

Anyway.. I digress, Xenon Headlamp or not..?

The standard LED lights on the LC are fantastic? Are you thinking to add xenon spots?

That's not to say the LEDs are standard by the way... But they are part of the pack with the TE which seems to be the most popular model.

Ahh, didn't realise the new headlamp was fully led, I assumed it was led daytime & xenon dip & main beam..

Agree with Jumblemo the LED headlamp is fantastic. I wouldn't have paid extra for it but it came with the package. Having used it I WOULD pay extra for it!

So how do the LED lights compare with say an 1150GS running 35w HID's in both dip and main beam?

Secondly how do the standard halogens compare with the equivalent in the older 12's or 11½'s as I've always thought that one halogen dipped beam was totally inadequate for night riding in the wet.
