New Years Day Ride

Guys, it was great to meet up with everybody! It wasn't as cold as I feared it might be, and the road surfaces of the Surrey lanes were actually very good. The only really dreadful bit was on the A286 after Midhurst where a few tractors had done their best to coat the road surface in Surrey's finest clay.

I was wondering last night whether there was any way to ride a GS over the embankment at the start. Just imagine: an empty race track . Next year we'll have to investigate more closely...

I love Boxers: no cold feet, ever !

Hope we can do something similar again soon.

Yup, but with German and US passports :cool. In the UK people think I'm Canadian, in the US they think I'm a Limey. In Germany they say "you speak German really well". Oh well, can't win 'em all...
