Hi All,
Clearly, since I've come to a GS forum, I'm looking for advice on a GS, but if there are any other suggestions at all I'd like to hear them!
I've not ridden for a few years now, but I've been hankering after getting back on a motorbike for a while. My main requirements for a bike are that it is fun to ride on the road and, most critically, is comfortable long distance for a pillion (as well as something that offers a nervous pillion some feeling of security).
The 1200GS seems to fit the bill, but I'd like to hear your comments - especially on the pillion comfort - on other GSs, including the r850 and f800. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions to compare the GS against, that would be helpful.
This is not for the immediate future - I have to get a wedding and all the associated finances out of the way first - and budget is not a massive concern (at the moment - that depends on the wedding too!)...
Thanks in advance for the help - Adam.
