The Hon. Mr BTBR is alluding to the fact that my GS has just gone to make way for a mobile American sofa, so I'm GSless at the moment. At least, until I can find a decent airhead GS...

Anyway, it's time we got things moving over here again. We've had a couple of good meet ups, so better get some dates in the diary!

Clive finished an offroad ride there last year.

You could ride just about the whole way from Newbury offroad (we did it from the services at the M4/A34.

Biker friendly, nice beer and the food looked OK.

Went past there Sunday morning, on the way to my favourite local road, Wantage - Newbury, only some bastards had covered the hill up from Wantage in loose chippings- gits.

Something other than a Wednesday might give me a chance of joining you.

Sounds good to me. I was going to suggest the Turf in Oxford, but let's go for yours as it looks like a better ride! Why not go for there on Thursday 24 August?

Sounds ideal, I like the sound of the 'off road' from Newbury to the pub. Maybe us on the newbury side could meet up at Chievely first and take this route?
August 24th is good for me.
