Next check-up?

I was wondering what is the next check-up after the 600 K. (6,000 K ?) And how often does every-one get an Oil change?

after the 600mile (1000km) first service the next scheduled service is at 6000miles (10,000km) or one year whichever comes first... BMW say you don't need to change the oil between services, but I changed my oil at 5000km anyway...

Yep, 6000 miles. Personally I wouldn't bother changing the oil in between services but, there are probably a few that do.

After the 600 mile service, i changed the oil myself at 1500 miles approx. I used Castrol GP mineral, but in 20w50 grade. Recently had the 6000 mile service, and as the bike is using an unmeasurable quantity of oil, i shall switch to fully synth, Castrol R4 10w50.
