When i got the bike (1100) the back end felt a little soft. I've upped the pre load but I can't make much sense of the re-bound adjustment.
In my clymer it say's there are 3 settings, soft, normal and firm.
When I've turned the screw it doesn't click or seem to "locate". I turned it clockwise 2 turns but couldn't seem to find any form of stop so turned it back again.
Is this normal and should it just be turned in the required direction untill the level of damping is achieved or are there, as the manual sugests pre determined settings?
At the front end the spring pre load adjuster was on the softest setting, I've upped this by one position too. Anyone know what the standard settings are?
TIA
