Looks like you had a great few days... I was up in Killarney NP with the GF we were up looking at the view on my 650GS but you drove on without saying hello! Did you manage to miss the cyclists doing the Ring of Kerry? 'Bout 200 of the buggers has completely taken over Sneem... Andy

I intentionally skipped the Ring of Kerry on Richie's advice in another thread.

Anyway - I saw both sides of it - once from the Ring of Beara, and once from the Dingle side.

Where you over by the lake - I was going to say Hi, and then I got bashful and just kept on going. Sorry i didn't stop - sometimes when I go out on my own for a few days like that, I really zone out and enter my own world. :nenau

Which is ridiculous, because I really like meeting other riders.

Seemed more like 2,000... was coming home from Killarney when they were still heading into town in the evening. Still, at least one member of this community was amongst them so won't moan too much ;)

As long as you go clockwise the RoK is good though not particularly challenging... the coaches seem to go anticlock...

No problem on not saying hello... know how you feel... sometimes you just don't feel like a chat!

We were staying over at glenteenassig forest which has some good gravel tracks through the woods if you ever go over that way... though wouldn't recommend it on the stock battlewings, t'was a little bit hairy!

Keep on truckin', Andy

That's right, but no need to stay on the Ring - there's some great roads in the middle of the peninsula including two passes and plenty tracks etc... Valentia Island, Ballinskelligs too! Just doing my bit to promote my locality :aidan

Wow

A great piece of work (can you call it work...?) Thinc2.

I may have only seen a few countries in my life, but I still feel sure that we have the best one here. Sod the ferries and the aeroplane, it's Ireland for me this year :aidan

(the fact that I'm skint is a side issue...)

Definately agree with that:thumb2
