Last Thursday myself and a mate arrived at Pension Williams in Seebach Germany, in the Black Forest. English patron, great place and super riding roads. Just sitting there having a hot drink and I see some GS's arrive at the little parking space opposite the building. As they get off the bikes (GSA 1150SE, 650 and a 1200) they start to check out my GSA 1150, as we all do! I said to my pal Terry, "I think I recognise that guy" and,as he removed his crash helmet I say it was Kevin (Beemer) and his partner Mida from over there in Ireland.
. I'd met with them at Nomad's Kent camp out back in early summer and had some good talks with them. Nice couple, we had a good chat again and were all surprised at meeting up in this out of the way place in Germany. Life is full of such surprises. Next day we were off to Livigno for the Stelvio and other passes, and much more fun. See you somewhere else guys!
